I also have a baby tooth that just never left. Dentists throughout my life told me no problem until recently. I moved and my new dentist was saying it should go and throwing out terms like bridges and braces and crowns. I've searched for more information as to whether this was really necessary, expense versus benefit, etc., but haven't been able to find many resources until your blog. I'm still pretty tentative to do anything, as it hasn't bothered me at all yet, but at least this gives me a sense of what I would be in for. Thank you for your thorough posting on this procedure.
